The Jalapeno Orange Margarita is also awesome if you like a good kick in your cocktail.

The Tamarind Togarashi Margarita is like no other margarita you've had. We want to meet the guy who thought to put Tamarind in a cocktail.

The Prickly Pear Caipirinha will make you feel like it's summer in Brazil.

And the cucumber mojito is one of the better cucumber cocktails we've had. So refreshing.

Malls usually don't mix with bars, but the rooftop deck at the new Santa Monica Place has shattered that preconception with a slew of great dining and drinking establishments. Our favorite spot is Zengo, the Latin-Asian fusion creation of famed chef Richard Sandoval. The food is fantastic but more importantly, the drinks menu incorporates fresh ingredients and creativity, which we dig. Make sure to try their edamame. We don't know what addictive drug they put in their special recipe, but we may or may not be known to have ordered 3 portions of the edamame.... to go...5 days in a row.

The setting is also one of the best rooftops in LA. The restaurant flows seamlessly to the bar, which flows seamlessly to the outdoor patio, firepit and all. It has a modern chic feel to it and you'll be hard-pressed to find a better rooftop this side of the Mississippi..errr.. Sepulveda?
